Holiday Inn at Hull Marina. Large Hotel over looking the Hull Marina, handy for all the Ferens Gallery and loads for great food emporiums. About 10 minutes walking distance from the station where the Larkin statue is in the Railway Station. Close to the Deep Submarium and Hull's Museum Quarters too. See the Hull Marina Hotel's Trip Advisor Page
Mercure Hotel at Willerby. Whilst not central is useful for exploring both Hull, Beverley and quick access to the Wolds to see the beauty that inspired Hockney. Also easy access to Cottingham where Lord Rix was born and to see where Phillip Larkin, Winifred Holtby spent time. Close by is Hull University where many Hull stars studied and worked like Anthony Minghella. A little bit out of town but nice and quiet. Has 3 supermarkets, a McDonalds and 3 pubs nearby. Handy for Bus Routes to Hull and Beverley. See the Mercure's Hotel's Trip Advisor Page
Royal Hotel, Hull. Fine looking traditional large Hotel next to the railway station over looking the Hull Cenotaph, In the station where the Larkin statue can be seen. Quite handy for the Ferens Gallery and Hull Truck Theatre. Also close to internal shopping at St Stephens. 15 mins walk to the Museum Quarter and 20 mins walk to the Deep. We strongly recommend reading The Royal Hotel's Trip Advisor for this hotel as poor reviews appear to be increasing, we have moved it down our list as a result.
